The Best is Yet to Come

My body is wounded and soul bleeding
Pain is tingling in my spirit
I could hear a mumbling voice
The best is yet to come.

The stars are shining and moon is smiling
My past is pocking my future
There I am; calm and helpless in the present
The best is yet to come.

Don’t you have ears to heed my cry? Don’t you see my tears?
Oh! My soul, the world is full of darkness and
It is staring at my present to hunt my future down
The best is yet to come.

Plants are green but they can dry
Body strong but it can decay
The night has come and light is gone but
The best is yet to come.

I can hear my voice trembling
Hands are numb and legs are heavy
Shattered thoughts and weeping sighs yet
The best is yet to come.

There I come in cotton trousers
A wheel in hand to run my way,
My heart is ponding for my friend
The best is yet to come.

Come my friend and hug me tight
Kiss my forehead and take my hand
I feel proud that you’re my friend
The best is yet to come.

Good or Bad?

We often look at a flower, we may tend to think what good this flower is doing to this amazing world. Does it do any good to anybody?

Flower

A Flower shows the divinity of creation. Its purity cannot be destroyed by anybody. It can be crushed but it will remain in the minds of many.

The First and The Best Wonder of The World

The most mysterious relationship I have ever seen is in marriage. Two people of different taste, behaviour, ability, etc come together and become one. Though they may know each other only for a short span of time, their life, body, soul and mind become one that the pain of one hurts the other. The happiness of one will be doubled for the other. They may have prosperity or poverty, may have many children or none at all, may have many friends or a few enemies, may be in the best of their health or may have all the illnesses one can have – still they remain one. Their parents will leave them for eternal life. Their children will leave them to make their own nests. But they two feel comfortable in each other’s company – until death parts them. I think this is the most mysterious scenario in the world. The first and best wonder of the world is nothing but a family which keeps itself true to its name.

The Double Headed Man

There was a man who had two heads, one to the front and the other to the back. Every time he started to walk forward, the head at the back described what he saw around. The head at the front used to look backward to ensure what the other head said was correct and the man often fell into potholes. It happened for a long time. One day, the head at the back was sleeping when he started to walk. Suddenly he realised that he is now walking at a very fast pace and he did not fall into any pothole. He walked into a shop and bought a cap which blocked the vision of his back head. Ever since, he never fell into any pothole and always reached his destination quicker and easier.

(epilogue: A man needs to learn from his past, but anyone who always stares at his past can neither see his future nor live in the present)

Why do I write?

They say, there is nothing which happens without a reason – and I think it is true. The universe has its own way of setting things. Every grain of rice and each worm in the mud is with a purpose. I too have a reason to write.
I see life in me and around me. Writing it down is like drawing a picture. It makes the unseen seen the ignored inevitable and most of all, it makes its message vivid to me.I write because, I have learned a lot from others – both from error and wisdom. That made “to error” unnecessary and put me one step ahead. Therefore if these collection of thoughts help even one person to leap a step ahead, it is worth my time and energy and I believe I too am one step closer to my destiny and purpose.

Losing Friendship

It is often thought by one of the friends that ‘the other may not like to be disturbed’ and so we don’t call, or sms. Even after a few...
